ArtsAZ offers workshops for teens and adults, by artists in their studios. Each workshop varies in length which could be 1 to 3 days or more, for about 4 hours a day. Students come out with new knowledge about various art forms. They are able to learn about creativity and craft. And every student leaves with a sense of accomplishment.
The instructors of each workshop have developed these courses with the intention to help see the value of creativity. With art programs in many schools being cut, student lose access to art courses which help them look at problem solving in creative ways. We look forward to helping develop these skills in these workshops, which are meant to be fun. So pull yourself or your teen away from the video games and Facebook and gain in social and artistic interaction.
Each course is developed by the instructor. Courses are made up of 1 to 4 students, so they get more 1 on 1 time with their instructors. All of our instructors have taught art or are professional working artists.
Some courses offer a discount per student as more students join in the workshop.

Each student will work on a 4'x4' panel. They will learn to use paint pens and spray paints with a variety of spray caps to create their work of art. They will learn some terminiology such as "Toy" and "King" and how they can benefit from doing work they keep legal. They leave the class with a their own work of art and a blackbook to continue working out designs and develop their creativity.

Using a DSLR camera, student will learn the key factors in setting up these images. They will get to learn the software which helps in developing the images, along with some photoshop techniques to refine their images.
Learn Photographic techniques and processes with DSLR cameras. This is a crash course for those who want to learn the advance techniques and operations to produce high quality images and get out of those beginner program modes.
This couse will help you advance your photo skills and techniques. Understand the different modes of your camera, and lighting for images that pop. We also touch on Photoshop to help develop your images.

Learn the basics of AutoCad to start building your designs. AutoCad is an industry standard in Architecture and Design. This course will teach you how to set up your drawings, how to layout and design within Autocad, including layers, text, and dimensioning. Also how to plot final prints.
Students will get to work on a project and print their final darwings.
Learn the tools you need and how to build beautiful panoramic images. You will learn what tool s will make it easier, the software that will help you build them and how to get them ready for print.
Each student will receive one 48" panoramic of their work.
Learn the tools you need and how to develop beautiful images with photoshop. Learn techniques to smooth skin, brighten eyes, clean up blemishes, Re-sculpt features, while keeping a natural look. Learn some of the Pro's techniques to achieve great portraits.
Student will get prints of their before and after images for their portfolios.
